Professor Creina Day is Professor of Economics at the Crawford School of Public Policy and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her award-winning teaching makes rigorous economics accessible, inclusive and relevant through the 3Rs — relevance, research-led curricula and reflection — and by integrating gender perspectives into postgraduate macroeconomics. She received Dean's Awards for Excellence in Teaching in 2008, 2009, 2016 and 2022, the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵVice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2023 and an Australian Awards for University Teaching Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning in 2024. Creina has successfully mentored numerous AAUT nominees and EFS applicants. As an EFS Co-Chair, she is committed to supporting educators in reflecting on their practice and gaining recognition for their contributions to student learning.
