As an Associate Professor and Deputy Director (Education) at the Research School of Management (RSM), I believe this university needs better communication and workflow efficacy to support our academic community, and I have the experience, the relationships, and the conviction to deliver it.
Over a 27-year career, I have built expertise at the intersection of technology and education. My ICT professional background taught me that sustainable change requires empowering the people it affects, a principle I bring directly to academic governance. Since joining ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵin 2003, and leading education in RSM since 2017, I have translated that principle into action: actively shaping the student experience and academic governance of currently more than 2,000 RSM and 9,000 students’ university wide.
I experienced ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵas a student and as a staff member, navigating the breadth of research and education matters within Academic Board's remit. That duality gives me an informed, grounded understanding of what the academic community needs from its governance structures. I will be a consistent, clear, and accountable voice; one that ensures academic concerns are heard at the highest levels.
