Policy Statement
I am seeking your support to serve on the Academic Board and contribute to a strong, inclusive, and forward-looking University. My priorities are grounded in the realities of academic work and focused on practical impact.
First, I will strengthen communication and trust through clear, timely, and genuinely two-way engagement between academic staff and central leadership.
Second, I will support academics at all career stages—enabling early career researchers to build sustainable trajectories, supporting mid-career colleagues in progression and workload balance, and recognising the leadership and mentorship of senior academics—while promoting wellbeing and valuing diverse contributions.
Third, I will support rigorous, transparent, and responsive governance, ensuring decisions are evidence-based, practical, and aligned with the needs of academic staff.
I will listen, engage, and work collaboratively to strengthen our academic community.
