Seungbin Kang(he/him) is a Bachelor of Asian Studies/Environment & Sustainability international student from South Korea. He is currently working in the public policy space at the Australia Institute, and is a student researcher and advocate in the International Students Representative Council of Australia, and the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵLaw Reform and Social Justice program. He previously held leadership roles in the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵStudents’ Association as International Students’ Officer and Clubs Officer, and as a Senior Resident at Wamburun Hall.
He is passionate about environmental policy, fair and equitable work, and international student inclusion and wellbeing. As a Committee member, he is dedicated to promoting the voices of marginalised groups on campus, and advocating for an intersectional approach to safety and wellbeing.
