Tess McClintock is a third-year student at the ANU, studying a Bachelor of Laws and International Relations. In student leadership, Tess is passionate about fostering inclusivity and community on campus, values that have guided her time as Arts Representative and Residential Advisor at Burgmann College, and as President of the Interhall Arts Committee in 2024. Through these roles, Tess has implemented initiative to encourage community participation, building stronger, more inclusive student communities and promoting creativity, collaboration, and gender equity in leadership across ANU’s residential and cultural life.
Tess also contributes to college governance as a member of Burgmann College’s Board of Management, College Council, and Rules Committee for 2025. Across these positions, she advocates for fairness, diversity, and meaningful participation, drawing on her experience developing community standards and policies that support student wellbeing. She is particularly committed to ensuring that student perspectives shape the dialogue, policies and priorities that define life at the University, and that all members of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵcommunity are aware of the options, rights, and support services they need to thrive during their time at the University.
