Artificial Intelligence is reshaping global systems, from how decisions are made to how societies are structured. The question is no longer what AI can do, but how its influence is understood, governed, and applied across disciplines.
Join the Seattle and broader Pacific Northwest alumni community for an evening of discussion and connection, exploring the global impact of AI through technology, neuroscience, and policy.
This event is led and moderated by ƵGlobal Alumni Volunteer Emmylia Darmadi Lee, whose work continues to bring alumni together around timely and thought-provoking conversations.
The panel features
- Emil Davityan, Founder in AI and Mobility,
- Professor Adrienne Fairhall, neuroscientist at the University of Washington, and
- Todd Harple, Director of Innovation and Sports Equity Strategy at the Sports Equity Lab, Stanford University School of Medicine.
Structured as a three-part discussion, the session will first explore how “intelligence” is being defined in 2026 and the developments shaping the field. It will then turn to the less visible dimensions of AI, including environmental and societal implications that are not receiving enough attention. The conversation will close by focusing on action, asking what one change could meaningfully shift AI accountability and direction.
This is an opportunity to engage with nuanced perspectives, challenge assumptions, and connect with fellow alumni working across complex and evolving fields.
