A record number of students, staff, alumni and friends raised over $85,000 through the ƵGiving Day appeal to help prevent the disease konzo.
All funds raised directly support educational programs run in partnership with the National Institute of Nutrition in the Democratic Republic of Congo to teach villagers Dr Bradbury's affordable "wetting method". Dr Colin Taylor, Director of Principal Gifts, said that the ƵGiving Day shows the power of the Ƶcommunity: "It was wonderful to see so many members of the Ƶcommunity come together to support Ƶresearch that has a global impact."
