The Chancellor chairs the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵCouncil and carries overarching responsibility for the leadership and effectiveness of the Council and the integrity and robustness of the University’s governance. The Chancellor also serves as the University’s ceremonial head, and supports its mission in research, education, and public engagement, consistent with the University’s commitment to openness, accountability, and academic excellence.
