ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵreceived notice from Foreign Minister Senator the Hon Penny Wong on 13 August (signed 10 August) to terminate the University’s teaching partnership related agreement with Shandong University. ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵwill fully comply with the decision in line with our obligations under Australia’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) Act 2020. 
The SDU-ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵJoint Science College was an educational partnership between ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵand Shandong University, providing undergraduate science education and a pathway for students to continue their studies at ANU.
There is no impact on students currently enrolled at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵas a result of this decision. They remain enrolled in their programs and are valued members of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵcommunity, and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵwill continue to support them throughout their studies.
