Student Hub Kambri is the central location for in-person Student Hub services during Semester 2 Orientation Week and Week 1 (20-31 July).  Course and program advice is available by emailing student@anu.edu.au. In-person and online sessions are not currently available.

Course and program advice

What is course and program advice?

Student Education Support provides our specialist course and program advice.

Course and program advice may include help with:

  • Understanding your program requirements and study options
  • Planning your enrolment and choosing courses
  • Majors, minors and specialisations
  • Credit and recognition of prior learning
  • Permission codes and other enrolment requests
  • Exchange, study abroad and cross-institutional study
  • Academic progress, study plans and graduation checks

How can I access course and program advice?

Email student@anu.edu.au from your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµstudent email account.

To help us respond efficiently:

  • Use your .
  • Include your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµID number and program name.
  • Clearly explain the advice, information or action you need.
  • Include relevant course codes and supporting documents.
  • Send one email and wait for a response rather than sending duplicate enquiries.

In-person, phone and online Zoom course and program advice sessions are not currently available.

If your course and program advice enquiry is not urgent or time sensitive, please consider waiting until after the beginning-of-semester peak. This helps our advisers prioritise students with urgent enrolment and study progression needs.

During busy periods, you may be offered a callback. This keeps your place in the queue, and a staff member will call you when your call reaches the front of the queue.

Getting to Student Hub Kambri

Student Hub Kambri is located on Level 1 of the Di Riddell Student Centre, which is the ground floor.

For information about accessible parking, public transport and accessible routes through Kambri, see the .

If you arrive from Joplin Lane on the lower ground (basement) level near the underground car park, supermarket and food outlets, select Level 1 in the lift next to Chatime.

Entering and moving through Student Hub Kambri

Student Hub Kambri has:

  • Step-free access
  • Lift access
  • Automatic doors
  • Wide walkways suitable for mobility devices and prams

Support during your visit

Please let us know if you need:

  • Help communicating with staff
  • Additional time to explain or process information
  • Support with checking in or waiting
  • A quieter place to wait or speak with a staff member
  • Support because of noise, crowds or sensory needs
  • Another reasonable adjustment to access the service

You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or personal medical information to ask for support.

Bathrooms and family facilities

Bathrooms, including accessible bathrooms, are located immediately next to Student Hub Kambri on Level 1.

A gender-neutral bathroom and a parents and carers room are located on Level 2. These can be accessed by lift from the Student Hub Kambri foyer.

Student Hub staff can help with general enquiries, student administration and finding the right ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµservice or process.

College of Business and Economics students can also visit Student Hub Kingsley for general enquiry support.

Can I still get course and program advice?

Yes. Course and program advice is currently available by emailing student@anu.edu.au from your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµstudent email account. Include your student number, program name, relevant course codes and a clear explanation of the advice or action you need.

In-person and online course and program advice sessions are not currently available.

Please email now if your enquiry is urgent or time-sensitive.

If you do not need advice immediately, please consider waiting until after the beginning-of-semester peak. This will help advisers prioritise students with urgent enrolment and study progression needs.

Why can’t I get course and program advice in person or online in Orientation Week?

The beginning of semester is a particularly busy period.

Course and program advisers are prioritising email support so they can properly review each student’s program and individual circumstances. This also allows specialist staff to process the high volume of credit, permission code, enrolment change and other requests as quickly as possible.

Can I still contact my College for student administration, course or program advice?

These services have now been centralised. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµStudent Hubs is the first point of contact for all student administration, course and program advice enquiries.

Some enquiries may require detailed assessment, approval or discipline-specific expertise. Where required, Student Hubs or Student Education Support staff will connect your enquiry with the appropriate specialist team.

What can Student Hub staff help with in person?

Student Hub Kambri staff can help with:

  • General enquiries about ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµsystems, processes and policies.
  • Navigating Programs & Courses to find key information like program requirements and course details.
  • Navigating ANUHub including adding, swapping and dropping courses.
  • Navigating MyTimetable to allocate to classes, manage clashes and generate your personalised timetable.
  • Fees and payments for domestic and international students including Commonwealth Assistance and HELP loans.
  • Accessing academic records and requesting official transcript, letters and other documents
  • Issuing student ID cards for new and continuing students
  • Connecting you with the right ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµservice or team for your enquiry

During the busy orientation period, Student Hub Kambri staff cannot assist with specialist course and program advice. Please email student@anu.edu.au so an adviser can properly review your program requirements, enrolment and individual circumstances.

Student Hub Kingsley staff can help with:

  • General enquiry support for College of Business and Economics students.
