Overview
The objective of the prize is to recognise the student(s) who has/have demonstrated a high level of academic excellence through being awarded the highest result in LAWS4300 Undergraduate Law Dissertation at the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµCollege of Law, Governance and Policy.
The value of the prize awarded $500, and a medal. If two or more students achieve the same top mark, the prize money awarded in that year shall be divided equally between them, and each student will receive a medal.
The prize will be on offer annually unless otherwise advised.
Funding for this prize has been provided by the family of Sir Richard Blackburn who was a former Chancellor of ANU. Sir Richard Blackburn was a Supreme and Federal Court Judge and a prominent legal academic.
