Community Compost

Join us as we build a compost that transforms our beautiful autumn leaves and garden waste into valuable fertiliser to nourish our spring crops!
In this hands-on session, you’ll help create a compost pile and structure, adding collected components to our compost bay while learning about the fascinating science behind composting. No prior knowledge or skills are required - there’s a role for everyone! Whether it’s constructing with old pallets, shredding paper, or raking leaves, your contribution will make a difference.
After our hard work, we’ll share a delicious afternoon tea of warm soup and bread to recharge and connect with the community.

Important Notes
- Dress warmly (we’ll be outdoors) and wear clothes that can get messy (we'll be working in the garden!)
