I seek access to any correspondence between:

and:

a. the Office of the Chancellor (including the Chancellor), or

b. the Office of the Vice-Chancellor (including the Vice-Chancellor),

that relates to the prior procurement of speech writing services from Murray Hansen and/or Vinder Consulting.

Where available in ANU’s records, I also seek the associated fields ordinarily recorded in donor registers, namely:

• country of origin of the donor entity
• the purpose/designation of the donation
• the value or value range of the donation

1.a. I note that a natural person acting on behalf of their foreign government or foreign government agency is not excluded from my request.

Any executed agreements (e.g. gift agreements, deeds, memoranda of understanding or similar instruments) between ������Ƶand a non-natural person international donor entity that record or govern the donation itself. This does not extend to drafts, internal correspondence, processing documents or records of individual donors.”

At the Audit and Risk Management Committee meeting held on 13 March 2025 (meeting 2/2025), the minutes record that the Chair noted that there is now a more robust procedure in place to address conflicts of interest for Council members.

I request access to any documents that describe or constitute this more robust procedure. Please include in scope any document that was updated or introduced prior to or around the time of the March 2025 ARMC meeting that reflects the more robust procedure referred to by the Chair; and any covering paper, briefing note or advice prepared in connection with the introduction or update of that procedure.
